Gwyneth Paltrow is getting real about her marriage. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, the 46-year-old actress and Goop founder revealed that she and husband Brad Fachuck only live together four days out of the week.

Since marrying the 48-year-old TV producer in September, Paltrow has kept their relationship somewhat private. But now, she’s opening up about their living arrangements and how it keeps them functioning at their best. According to the Times interview, Paltrow’s intimacy coach told her that the arrangement gives their marriage “polarity.” It’s unclear what that means exactly, but a little bit balance is never a bad thing in any kind of relationship.

“Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal and we shouldn’t change a thing,” Paltrow, 46, told the publication.

Paltrow’s nontraditional marriage doesn’t come as too much of a shock. After she and Falchuck married, they honeymooned in the Maldives with their respective children — and her ex-husband of 11 years, Chris Martin.

The whole situation might seem a bit strange to the average married couple. But hey, if it works, it works.
