Denim jackets don’t typically classify as evening wear, but leave it to Ashley Graham to change the game one style hack at a time. The supermodel slash body positive activist sported a super creative look to Gigi Hadid’s denim-themed birthday celebration on Monday, and everyone is talking about the ensemble.
Unlike her usual body-con, curve-hugging dresses, Graham wore an oversized Levi’s Made & Crafted denim jacket cinched at the waist with a chain-link belt. Instead of pants, the stylish star went with thigh-high Steve Madden boots, and she left the bottom two buttons of the jacket unbuttoned. Seriously, who knew the outerwear staple could be styled so sultry?
Graham posted the look on Instagram, saying that even though she had to pull up her boots all night, she “felt sexy AF.”
But Graham wasn’t the only guest to pull out all the stops for the denim-themed dinner. Olivia Culpo also showed up in a utilitarian denim mini dress and thigh-high boots, so it’s safe to say this is an approved look for spring.
Hadid’s mother Yolanda donned a three-piece denim suit while her sister Bella smoldered in a denim bustier and jeans.
